Faeries Going to Starland Event NYE

NEAR LANDERS—Starland Community invites male Radical Faeries, wannabees and admirers to the annual New Year’s Gathering Dec. 26 to Jan. 3.

This Starland fund-raiser is $45/day for use of Starland’s rustic campground, sleep space, hot tub, workshops, daily Heart Circles, food, and Bright Star membership privileges for a year.

You’ll meet faeries from all over, and enjoy the trails, labyrinth, vortex, and phallic fire pit.

Come with compassion, joy and spiritual bliss. Don’t bring recreational drugs or anything that may be harmful. Open to all 21 and up.

Hosts are Steve, Starland founder and community organizer; and Mohabee, Radical Faerie Shaman and Starland resident. They seek volunteers for workshop leaders, massage exchange facilitator, yoga instruction, food prep, clean-up.

Basin to Represent at PS Pride

PALM SPRINGS—PS Pride is Nov 7 & 8. The Copper Mountain College AWARE Club will be there representing the college and the Basin.

The Festival is Sat. 10am to 8pm & Sun. 10am to 6pm. AWARE will have a booth. They’re raising funds with a raffle and sales of the rainbow jewelry they make. Plan to spend a few dollars there.

Festival Tickets are $15 per day or $20 for a 2-day pass. Buy yours at www.pspride.org or at the gates, near the south end of the library parking area.

When the Pride Parade kicks off at 10am Sunday, AWARE will be there as well.
Marchers must arrive between 7 & 8am. You’re invited to march with AWARE under their banner!
